- Ages 7-16 – phase 1 growth modification treatment – to make subsequent orthodontics more predictable
- Ages 10-21 – fixed orthodontic treatment
- Ages 21+ – fixed orthodontic treatment is usually ideal but aesthetic options such as Invisalign® and lingual orthodontics & social 6 may be considered
