Lingual Orthodontics & Social 6

Social 6 or lingual orthodontics is similar to using traditional brackets and wires to straighten your teeth BUT the appliance sits on the inside of your teeth instead of the outside where everyone can see. This makes the treatment truly invisible.

This approach is useful for patients with mild to moderate crowding in the front teeth, yet their back teeth are well aligned.

After the intial orthodontic consult, and all treatment options have been discussed, impressions of your teeth are taken to setup the brackets and wires. Total treatment time is usually under 6 months with monthly visits to make adjustments and check your progress.
